The MCS solution uses the Microsoft SharePoint platform as the basis for sophisticated enterprise collaboration and knowledge management, providing a business centric approach to the capture, consolidation and management of data, documents, files, email and email attachments. This provides users with easy access to a unified view of all key information within the organization.

MCS attended the Microsoft World Partner Conference in Los Angeles in July and was proud to be able to fly the flag for Cayman, bringing back an important accolade. Each year at the Worldwide Partner Conference, Microsoft recognizes partners who have developed exemplary solutions for their customers. The winners and finalists for the WPC Awards Program demonstrate significant customer impact, originality, effective time to market, deployment of advanced features and the ability to optimize their use of Microsoft technologies to meet business needs.

MCS was chosen out of an international field of over 400 Microsoft partners from the Latin America and Caribbean, prevailing over stiff competition in the category, which included finalists frimageom Brazil and Mexico. The Portals and Collaboration Partner of the Year Award honors a partner who has excelled in offering breakthrough SharePoint solutions to meet team and organization collaboration and connectivity needs across intranets, extranets and the Internet.

After the announcement of the award, CEO of MCS, Chris Lopez, commented:

“We are elated to accept the Microsoft Portals and Collaboration and Country Partner of the Year awards, which builds on the similar recognition we achieved last year. This places MCS and the Cayman Islands squarely on the Microsoft World Map. We have assembled a world class, multinational team and it is evident that the power of intellectual capital can be exponential!

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the members of the MCS SharePoint Consulting Practice as well as extend our gratitude to Microsoft for their continued support and partnership.”

Mariana Castro, Microsoft General Manager for the region stated:

“We are delighted that MCS have once again demonstrated their strength in delivering SharePoint solutions in the region. Securing the Portals and Collaboration Partner of the Year Award for 2011 illustrates a core competency that clients can truly depend upon.”
